The Odessa Martial Arts and Fitness
Organization was established April 27th, 2007.
The Board of directors have the legal responsibility to the following duties: care, loyalty, and obedience.
The duty of care means: the board members must pay attention to what’s going on and make decisions based on good information.
The duty of loyalty means: a board member must put the organziations welfare above other interests when making decisions.
The duty of obedience means: Board members must act in accordance with the nonprofits missions and goals.

The Board of directors will be elected annually at a board of directors meeting in the month of May.
Cheryl Cleveland is the founder of Odessa Martial Arts and Fitness. She has 12+ years of martial art experience. She has a certificate in Massage Therapy where she broadened her knowledge in anatomy and the body. She has a high interest in increasing people’s mental and physical health along with instilling confidence in people of all ages. Her goal is to dedicate her life to the benefit of others mental and physical health and bolster a positive “I Can” attitude”. She was a joint owner of LTC Tech and was a board member of PHCC Environmental Club and helped to start the college’s recycling program. Cheryl has knowledge in managing, book keeping, computers, web design, instructing, and house remodeling. She believed she has what it takes to establish “Odessa Martial Arts and Fitness” and to keep it running effectively.
April Hetrick is a daycare provider for “Kids are Kids” and a worker at St John’s hospital. She has certification as a CPR and First Aid Instructor. She remembers going to the church 30 years ago and hopes that we can help restore the building.
Brenda Jochums Slez has her Ph.D. at U Mass Lowell. She has many years experience in Education and Psychology. She has done many projects for State and Country parks (such as the Grand Canyon and The Lowell Mills in MA) conducting research and analyzing results for grant seeked by these organizations.
Ginger Alemaghides is the President of Elite Martial Arts Academy.
Here she manages all operations of the Academy including managing Martial Art instruction and managing after school and summer camp programs. She is also a Yoga and Pilates instructor at her school.
Lawrence R. Beutlich, Jr. is a Credit Analyst at CertainTeed Gypsum. He has a B.S. at University of Florida 1993 and achieved his M.B.A. at Saint Leo University 2004 Larry has been in the financial analysis field for about 12 years, for such insurance companies such as Prudential, Cigna, and United Healthcare. He is Currently a Credit Analyst for CertainTeed Gypsum, the world's largest producer of gypsum wallboard. Larry has volunteered in the past for Habitat for Humanity, Ronald McDonald House, and Jacksonville Jaycees.
Ronald Ceyrolles is a videographer extraordinaire. He has served as a vice president of the HOA at the Marina Club of Tampa from 2001 – 2003. He is a member of 1st Baptist church of Odessa 2005 – current. He is currently the Vice President of Best Shot Inc. along with being a partner of Impression Masters Inc and is also the CEO of his own business “Tampa’s Vision Studio”,
Christopher Deptula currently runs 2 businesses. He is a manager at the Red Lobster in Tampa Palms, and I owns a business as a Registered Financial Advisor in the Citrus Park area. He has volunteered his advice on any Financial matters for our organization including setting up retirement plans, life insurance, disability insurance, health savings accounts, or any investments we might need as we grow. Meeting at our new center will never be a problem for him since he’s a next door neighbor living only 500ft away.
